Description
The current design of this product does not meet the current rules and regulations set up by the R&A and USGA governing parties. So, under the current guidelines this grip would not be allowed in tournament play. However, we know that this grip could be used by many recreational golfers.
You will grip the club like any other golf grip. There are no indentations showing you where to put your hands that can be found on golf training grips. The biggest benefit to the grip because of its ergonomic design is that when you take the club back the grip will not release from your hand. (Left hand for right handed players and right hand for left handed players) Many players when taking the club back the grip releases from their hand and they regrip it on the downswing. When you do this, you will wear out your glove on the bottom right side of your glove and you also be promoting the dreaded over the top move on the downswing.
- Ergonomically you are gripping the club with a Closed Pack Joint which is the optimal position to feel relaxed.
- It feels very natural and comfortable in your hands
- It may increase your swing speed
- It will help cut down on tennis elbow and wrist injuries.
- It would help people who have physical injuries and only have the ability play with one arm or have limited use of the second arm.
