Brian J. Clancy is the inventor of The Best Fit Grip. This dream of Brian’s started
back in 2007 with the Hot Handle Hockey Stick Grip. This initial concept has
continued to grow and he has now placed the Best Fit Grip on more than 40
applications. The Best Fit Grip also has 4 patents protecting his invention. Brian is
extremely passionate about his inventions and the wheels are always turning to come
up with new applications. Currently we have enough applications to continue to grow
the company for many years.

New Leadership

July of 2021, Dan Dwyer was brought on board as the new CEO.

Since that time the company has rebranded to help bring the companies robust products to market. We have created a website, trademarked our products, set up distribution networks, and we now have an in-house legal team on board being led by Mr. Ron Thompson. We have also been able to develop relationships with other individuals and companies who are and will be an integral source of knowledge and experience as we continue to grow our business.

The company will be a hybrid of sorts in that there are some products we will manufacture on our own. We feel a large part of our growth will be through developing licensing agreements with companies who have been in specific markets for many years. Even though this may not be as profitable for us on a per unit basis, the ability to tie in with their manufacturing and marketing capabilities can create a winning situation for all parties.

The current design of this product does not meet the current rules and regulations set up by the R&A and USGA governing parties. So, under the current guidelines this grip would not be allowed in tournament play. However, we know that this grip could be used by many recreational golfers.
